Extended Stay America Suites- Washington D.C. - Springfield

I had a wonderful 11-day stay at this hotel! It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel is actually much nicer in person than it looks in the Google images, the photos don’t do it justice. A special thank you to Syed at the front desk. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. He truly made the experience even better. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding Service – Eric at Extended Stay America Springfield Stayed at Extended Stay America – Springfield during a major snowstorm, and I want to specifically recognize Eric at the front desk. When roads were covered in snow and travel plans were disrupted, Eric was calm, professional, and incredibly attentive. He managed a high-stress situation with confidence, answered questions patiently, and ensured guests felt supported and informed. What stood out most was his cool and informative under pressure. Eric didn’t just check people in — he elevated the entire guest experience. In long-term stay hospitality, service makes the difference, and Eric represents Extended Stay America at the highest level. The snow storm and Ice lasted for three weeks !! the COO of Extended Stay sent a letter to Guest apologizing for the conditions. That was appreciated. The property offers on-site laundry facilities (Speed Queen machines), but the payment using the app needs a ew vendor to manage the laundry facility. The weight room needs to be upgraded. I did not use it. I have stayed in other ESA locations, Reston, this one is walking distance to Springfield mall and few minutes uber ride to Franconia Springfield Metro

The employees here at this location have all been nice and professional. There are like 5-6 who have been very helpful to me personally. It helps when they are fully staffed, which I think they might be now. We are here for months in between housing so we have seen both sides of service. A couple of pros….. Our room is cleaned weekly, rotating between full and partial clean. Friendly service, calls upstairs to notify of received packages, inside is kept up well but some customers can be slobs. Outside is kept up also but same slobs. Everyone here has been kind and affable to each other. I’ve had the Assistant Mgr even carry a very large heavy box to my room. There are two receptionists who go beyond their basic duties and that is noticed. If staying here longer than 30 days, your room rates drop the taxes. It helps!! A couple of cons…… The complimentary breakfast is always out of something. It’s like when ordering, they can’t get it correct. It’s always not enough. Even though it’s stated it’s complimentary…you know we are paying for it.,The key cards are also always having to be rekeyed maybe several times a day. Needs major work! In the laundry room washer or dryer is al says on the blink. Right now no dryers for over 1 1/2 months or longer. Laundry mats are very expensive. Local calls cost but it doesn’t effect you if you cell phone works., I Overall, every business has its up and downs. When we first moved here from Florida…management had just changed over so everyone was learning their new roles and it has improved.

I have been here for several weeks and will be here for another week or so. Eric, and his staff have been very helpful the entire time I’ve stayed here, They are very accommodating, friendly and professional. I found the room to be very clean, which is a must for me. The thing I like about it the best, other than the great location is that it is very quiet and peaceful. I would most certainly stay here again.

This place is actually a gem for the area. It’s very user friendly and affordable for what it offers. The staffs are professional and helpful. I have the chance to have staffs members that personally check on me with whatever needed starting with Eric himself, Shelly (She usually worked during the day) Carry, Syed and Mohammed. Despite some minor issues my stay here has been pleasant

I am enjoying here my stay here. The things I like the most is that there is no interference into my privacy, no such disturbances and the front office staff Mr. Syed, Mr Eric and everyone were well behaved, cordial, and professional. The room is fully equipped with all basic amenities needed for a longer stay.

This Extended stay is a perfect location. Busses on site. Staff is excellent, awesome. Sawanna and Eric is definitely awesome. They always greet you with a smile. Hands on. Highly recommend
